Public Art Project: Georgian Lights Festival

I thought I’d share a few older projects that I loved working on. This first one is a public art project for the annual Georgian Lights Festival in Armagh city, Northern Ireland.

In Autumn 2020, I was asked to create a series of drawings of the historic Georgian buildings for the festival which extends through the entire city centre each December. I love drawing buildings so this was right up my street!

My Georgian landmarks & historic figure drawings, were used for a lamp display, shop window vinyls, light projections on buildings and festival billboards & brochures. The lamps & light projections proved popular so were used for 2021 & 2022 festivals.

It’s so lovely to look back at these photos and see my drawings come to life throughout the city.
